Caffè Moak was born in Modica, a city symbolic of the chocolate tradition. During Arab rule, Modica was called Mohac, and founder Giovanni Spadola wanted to pay homage to his hometown by choosing to name his company after his homeland.
We wanted to pay homage to Modica not only with our name, but also with our chocolate. Modica IGP salt chocolate is a perfect balance between the sweetness of cocoa and the savoriness of salt. Made with cocoa mass, cane sugar and an addition of salt (0.3%), it offers a rough texture and an enveloping flavor in which the salt enhances the deep notes of cocoa.
